Booster Meeting Notes 6/19:
President’s Report:
Over the last month and half since announcement of the new head coach the Booster Board has been working on the following:
Kings camp for Jv & Varsity. Registered team and helped cover $750 in fees for registration and transportation. It was agreed to charge each player attending $20 to help reimburse these fees. Board was present during spring camp for collection of registration paperwork and $20 fee, currently there are 45 kids attending camp. Requested from boosters to approve $200 towards providing boys lunch after camp both day and request was approved.
Spring BBQ: Boosters hosted BBQ after last day of spring camp for all team and coaches as well as welcome to our incoming freshmen families.
Head Coach requested $500 help towards coaches gear purchase through H&L to help with purchasing gear for his coaches to wear during games. Board approved and then it was found that we have $500 credit through H&L from overpayment in 2017 season so this amount will be deducted from credit.
Game Day Media programs: Booster president has been working with Game Day to get our program for 2018 season complete. These programs are handed out during Varsity games for free and feature the players and teams/season info and sponsor. Currently the program will be printed mid August and ready by first home game.
Fundraising:
Need to get some fundraising set up for 2018 season, ideas suggested:

Facebook has messenger option, realize not everyone has FB, but we set up 2 group chats with football families through Facebook that we can add and talk. It’s easy way to stay in touch and get info. If you want to be apart of these groups, please email bruins email with your Facebook name and you will be added.
Volunteers needed:
Anyone interested in learning a board position and wants to shadow through the rest of the year. Positions are secretary, treasure, VP, Fundraising, President.

Gear Tent for Friday night Varsity games
Freshmen parent to help organize and coordinate handing out programs Friday night varsity games
